In a unexpected partnership that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
